#031 Common Coaching Scenarios
May 02, 2022In this week's episode we are talking about common coaching scenarios. Ever thought “What would I do if...” Well, we’re covering a number of different scenarios that clients bring to coaching and sharing how we’d approach them. There’s no right or wrong answer of course, just some ideas as we share our thoughts.
What you will learn in this episode:
- What common scenarios the learners on our programmes have raised
- Some options for resolving or moving through these scenarios
- Why curiosity is so important when coaching
- How to explore possibilities with yourself as a coach and with your client
- The role of contracting when some of these common scenarios become apparent
- Why questions matter in these situations
When you work as a coach you’ll always encounter situations and scenarios that stretch your skills and continuing to invest in your coaching development, even beyond your initial training, is something we encourage all coaches to do.
