Advanced Diploma at a glance:
To gain your ILM 7 diploma you will need to:
- Complete the 24 modules of pre-work
- Undertake 72 Hours of Coaching Practice supporting 7 - 10 senior or executive level coachees
- Complete 2 Assignments plus 1 portfolio of your coaching practice
- Participate in 8 Hours of Coaching Supervision
- Take part in a coaching duo/triad to support your learning, meaning that you will receive coaching from one of your peer delegates
To gain your Emotions Coaching Practitioner Certification you will need to:Â
- Complete 8 core modules of pre-work
- Attend 4 days of live training
- Incorporate the Emotions Coaching techniques into at least 12 of your 72 practice coaching hours
- Attend 3 integration sessions
- Complete a reflective practice assessment

How is the Advanced Diploma delivered....
This course is delivered via blended learning, combining online pre-work and live training sessions.Â
The pre-work lessons are hosted on our learning portal, which can also be accessed via an App. They include narrated videos, coaching demonstrations and downloadable resources.
Each pre work lesson has an accompanying live training session held via zoom which you attend with your fellow learners.
In these live training sessions we review the core content, answer questions, offer feedback, share examples and role model the techniques. The majority of the time is spent practising the techniques learnt and watched in the pre-work.Â

What's on the Curriculum for the Emotions Coaching Practitioner Training?
The Emotions Coaching Practitioner Training is a revolutionary and unique training created by Zoe Hawkins and Jo Wheatley.
Included in the training is a deep dive into Trauma, Ethics and Attachment so you can work confidently and ethically with emotions, as well as exploring your Self Care as a coach. The programme then covers the 6 core principles of Emotions Coaching. These are:Â
- Emotions are neither good nor bad
- You are not your emotions
- Emotions are unmet needs
- Emotions are not always authentic
- Emotions are interlinked
- You can choose your emotions
Included within these principles is 12 tools and techniques for working with your clients emotions in relation to their coaching outcomes. Throughout this programme you will come face to face with your own relationship to your emotions and learn strategies that support not only your clients but also you.Â

How does this programme work?
You'll begin your journey with your ILM 7 Diploma, starting with the live taught content.Â
At the end of the taught content you'll start coaching your practice clients, you need to complete 72 hours for your diploma. You'll be starting group coaching supervision here too.Â
Approximately 4-6 months after the end of your taught content you'll start your Emotions Coaching journey. This begins with 8 weeks of self guided learning.Â
You'll then attend 4 days of live training where you'll be practising all of the Emotions Coaching techniques.Â
Following this you'll incorporate the Emotions Coaching approaches into the coaching you're doing with your ILM practice clients.Â
You'll get further supervision in the form of integration sessions from the Emotions Coaching Training.Â
Once you've completed 72 hours of coaching in total, you'll complete your assignments for your ILM programme along with your reflective assessment for your Emotions Coaching Practitioner and you'll graduate with both your diploma and your Emotions Coaching Practitioner Certification.Â
The whole journey will take you approximately 18 months - 2 years, depending which cohorts you plan to join.Â
